You just can't go on having faith in something just because you want it to exist...
Part of growing up means letting go of a lot of things: childish toys, silly little idiosyncrasies, people…It may be hard to admit but moving on requires us to leave the things that we used to cherish behind. Part of becoming an adult requires us to learn from our experiences and use it to become better people as we begin to contribute to society. We can’t keep getting caught up with what happened in the past and hope that things will turn out for the better. They won’t because the world just doesn’t work like that. Sorry to be such a downer but that’s just how it goes.
